Turn speech into editable notes with AI Notes: Voice to Text, an offline voice recorder and transcription app that works directly on your Android phone.
Record a voice note, turn speech into text, then edit, clean up, copy, search, share, or export it when you are ready. Transcription is performed by the installed model on your device rather than by a cloud speech-to-text service. It is a practical tool for quick ideas, meeting takeaways, spoken drafts, personal reminders, and any moment when typing is inconvenient.

CHOOSE THE TRANSCRIPTION MODEL
The built-in Whisper Tiny model is ready for the app language. You can optionally download Whisper Base, Medium, or Large-v3 Turbo for automatic recognition across 99 supported languages. Larger models need more storage and may be slower; Turbo is shown only on compatible 64-bit devices with at least 6 GB of memory. Choose Wi-Fi-only downloads if you prefer to download optional models over an unmetered connection.
DICTATE INTO OTHER APPS
Optional Floating voice input lets you finish a local transcript and place it into the active text field of another app. This feature uses Android's AccessibilityService only after you select Text insertion and enable it in Android Settings. When dictation ends, the service reads the text and cursor or selection in the focused editable field — never password fields — so it can replace only the selected text with your transcript. The contents of that field are not sent, shared, or stored by Voice Scribe. You can use the app without this feature and turn it off at any time in Android Settings.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your microphone audio is used to make a transcript on your phone. Temporary recordings are deleted after transcription. Saved transcripts stay in your local library until you delete them. Internet is needed for optional model downloads and app updates; Google Play purchase or restore flows and optional diagnostics may also use a connection. Speech recognition can make mistakes, especially with background noise, names, or technical terms, so review important text before sharing it.
